What makes I for Design, our Brand and Web Design Studio tick

Today, I’m peeling back the layers of I for Design Studio and share what truly fuels our brand’s essence. From the mighty fine highs to the challenging lows, my journey encapsulates the quintessential entrepreneurial rollercoaster.

Client connections are the heartbeat of my craft

I’ve always believed in leading with passion, from my early days tackling high school projects to navigating post-uni graduation job opportunities. The evolution into launching my own business felt like a natural progression, driven by a fervent desire for more meaningful work, genuine connection, and the autonomy to dictate my own terms. And I’m not just talking about the perpetual pursuit of the thing called ✨work/life balance✨

The birth of I for Design Studio

At the core of my ethos lies the profound connection with my clients. Their journeys always become intertwined with mine, serving as a constant source of inspiration that propels me to pour my heart and soul into every project. Genuinely. If you’re seeking a designer who’s truly invested in your success, you’ve come to the right place – consider me your newfound business bestie. I’m in it with you for the long haul, and I mean it.

From humble beginnings as a side hustle in 2018, offering logo designs for a mere $150 (yes, you read that right!), to blossoming into the thriving entity that is I for Design Studio, my journey has been nothing short of extraordinary. Full of plenty of tests, high emotions, and some sleepless nights (the joys of running your own business). Yet, despite my growth and success so far, I remain steadfast in my commitment to authenticity and integrity. I will never sell you into a project you’re not ready to invest in and you will never feel left in the dark – I’ll be right next to you holding your hand insert picture of us holding a torch walking through a dark tunnel

Passion vs. Boundaries in the design industry

And then comes that eternal struggle of balancing passion with boundaries – a challenge I’ve grappled with firsthand. Guilty as charged, I’ve often found myself immersed in my work to the point of neglecting my personal boundaries – no, I’m not proud of it. However, each little stumble has helped serve as a valuable lesson, reinforcing the importance of prioritising projects that evoke a resounding “F*ck yes!” while STILL maintaining a healthy equilibrium. I was skeptical that these projects and these people exist, but they do. I’ve finally found my people and when I’m say I’m so lit up from it, I mean it!

Whether you’re a seasoned client or a newcomer to the I for Design Studio family, I want you to know you’re so welcome here.

Drop me a line and share where you’re at in your journey.

I’m all for forging new connections that feel good and make the ups and downs of both out journey’s truly worthwhile.
